This project will provide with scientific evidence to evaluate short rotation coppice (SRC) impact – positive and negative – on soil, water, biodiversity and landscape issues and also ways to increase environmental benefits. Effects of recycling of byproducts in SRC will be evaluated. The main aim is to use the obtained results to accommodate decision-making organisations with support tools to assess sustainability of SRC.
